Installing BBCode Extension for PHP

    Installing BBCode Extension for PHP

    I just can't seem to figure out how to install this extension. From
    what I understand, there needs to be a .dll file located in the PHP
    extensions folder, and there needs to be a line in the php.ini file
    that loads the .dll extension. But which .dll is it? And is it already
    located in the extensions folder, or do I need to download it
    separately? Or what?

      Sorry, my messages didn't seem to be going through, even after a long
      time, so I assumed it didn't go through at all and I posted twice
      (I've actually done it three times now). Usually when I post it goes
      through right away, I don't know what happened.

      The php manual at http://www.php.net/bbcode talks about a bbcode
      extension, but I can't figure out their installation instructions. I
      could really use some help.

          They came through right away. Don't know why your news server didn't
          pick them up.

          As for your question - this is a PECL extension. If you follow the
          installation links, they will take you over to how to install PECL
          extensions.

          I don't know of a binary for this one - although you might find one. If
          not, you'll have to compile it yourself (which I've never found easy on
          Windows).
