NNTP is not one of the built-in protocols in PHP [the list is at
http://www.php.net/manual/en/wrappers.php], however the IMAP/POP3/NNTP
functions provide some degree of NNTP functionality - see

http://www.php.net/imap

Failing that, try a google search along the lines of

http://www.google.com/search?q=PHP+NNTP
