display data from specific date

Hello,

I am currently building a daily reporting log for my company. A user will input data into a form, the form then stores on the database, another user will sign on to view the data from the current day and be able to only see the data from that date. There will also be a drop down menu search for past days, where the user will be able to go back and search information. I am having trouble trying to figure out the code how to display only certain dates. any help would be appreciated.
