using PHP5 OO features...and any .net in future?

I've been using PHP for a few years now, have used ASP in the past,
and PHP (IMO) is far superior!
However, last year I had the opportunity to do some work in
ASP.Net...and wow! Really liking what .Net can do.

Anyway, I've seen a lot of teasing statements about new OO features in
PHP5, but I can't really find any comprehensive site detailing these
new OO features, what they are, what they do, how to use them.
Any suggestions? I did a Google, and darn it if I didn't find anything
    of use.

My other question, and perhaps it's more of a Linux/Apache question,
but is there any chance of being able to use C#.Net on a Linux server
any time soon? I really REALLY don't want to have to use an IIS
server, but I'm really liking what I see in C#.Net.

    Thanks for any suggestions/tips!
    Liam

I haven't really dug into it myself yet, but the new stuff should be
      documented here:
PHP is a popular general-purpose scripting language that powers everything from your blog to the most popular websites in the world.

And what can it do exactly? I had the misfortune of working with ASP.Net and
I say it absolutely sucks balls.
