Convert image to jpg useing php

Hi .. i want to change any image format to jpg....i generate pdf file useing fpdf but it only support jpg and png but i want to use all image so i want to chage others image format to jpg plz anyone can help me or tell me how could i can use all image formats with fpdf to generate pdf file

GD Lib is a good place to start if you want to toy with images
