Finging a good Web hosting company

[Nick Mudge]

Hello,

I want to find a good web hosting company to build a site on using mysql and
PHP. It would need to be scalable so that my web site could get really big.
But I would start off small and with little money to pay for hosting. Does
anybody recommend a good hosting company?

with request. three years now, hardly ever down!

You could take a look at Black Gate (my company). We do web hosting
primarily as a service to our web clients, but you don't have to be a
client to buy hosting from us.

I have never tried Directi (Indian based I think). They have hosted
2 Indian mirrors for php.net. Here is their price caclulator
<http://order.directi.c om/horder/> looks nominal and promising.
