images are not showing and links are not working when i uploaded my files on server

I am using cake php, all was working fine on my localhost, and then when i uploaded the files online all the images did not show, and each time i click on a link it says page not found...

I don't understand exactly how cake php work, but it seems like it defines a different path to the webroot, but it's not working on the server.

Any idea????
