PHP and FrontPage Forms Output - HELP!

I am trying to change the output information formatting that is being emailed to a client from their website form. They have quite an extensive form and are saying it is hard to read the plain unformatted text that comes through in the emails. I have created this form with FrontPage and it is being sent to their email through a send.php document. Is there ANY way to format the text output that is emailed to the client??!!! Even as little as bolding some of the information output from the form?? I would rather not refer to a service such as FormMail if at all possible.

Tried sending it as HTML? With all the normal HTML tags for formatting the text?
