switching between different versions of xampp

hello. i've just installed the most version of xampp, but i still have
the previous version just in case. i've simply renamed the previous
version's root directory to "lampp_orig ." so, does anyone know how to
switch back and forth? thanks

Why do you want to be switching back and forth between the two and what
do you mean by switch back and forth? XAMPP's htdocs directory can be
moved around at will. Is this unix or windows etc?
