IIS doesn't read PHP.INI

I'm trying to access MySQL. I did all the required settings, but my IIS doesn't want to read the extension_dir directive and so the mysql extension is not loaded.

Any workaround

Did you copy PHP.INI to the C:\WINDOWS directory and the LIBMYSQL.DLL to the C:\WINDOWS\SYST EM32 directory?
