    Database driven photo gallery?

    Hi!

I'm searching for a Photo Gallery software package (like Coppermine and
Gallery) that works, from the ground up, like a database-driven app. In
other words, I want a gallery which entirely does away with the hierarchical
structure of traditional gallery apps and allows the user to select, from a
list of criteria, whatever photos he or she wishes to see. For example,
each photo would have entries for photographer, category, date, location and
people in the photo. So a user could search for "All photos from 2001 with
Lucas in them" or "All photos from the end of year party".

Does anyone know of such an application?

I've searched on Google and Sourceforge but with little success. The
nearest I've found is the search feature found in most gallery apps - but
    these aren't powerful enough.

    Many thanks,
    Jack

"Exposure Gallery". Haven't looked too hard, but feel free to check it out
and let us know if it suits.

      Thanks, Garp,

It does look good. But unfortunately it lacks the user facilities of
software like "Gallery" or "Coppermine ".

      Thanks,
      Jack
