Can't get PHP to work on Linux - troubleshoot or start from scratch?

Is it more time-consuming to troubleshoot or just start from scratch.
PHP used to work that's why I'm tempted to just re-install Linux.

Hah.. I love that phrase... "used to work" or "doesn't work".

    Why not?

    What have you broken?

What are you trying to do?

    What errors are being returned?

What did I eat for dinner 3.876 years ago?

Troubleshoot - can't be _too_ much stopping php from working. What have
you changed that might contribute to the problem?
