    Calling help function from hyperlink....

    ....I should have mentioned that I need to call the help function from a
    hyperlink...

    but <a href="<? gethelp(1) ?>">Get Help</a> Doesnt work....

    Try this:

    <a href="help.php? helpid=1">Get Help</a>

    You'll have to set up a page that uses the helpid to retrieve and display the
    data. Remember PHP is parsed by the server. If you want to communicate with
    PHP again, you'll have to do it as a GET request.

    Then on your help.php page, do something like:

    <?PHP
    $helpid = intval($_GET['helpid']); //make sure it's an integer
    gethelp($helpid );
    ?>
