Finding php work

Are there any good sites that list php oppurtunities for freelancers to
work on? Also how about sites listing volunteer opporunities for php?
If not I was thinking of starting one, good idea or not?

There are a lot of freelance sites on the web...
Check rentacoder.com, scriptlance.com , getacoder.com etc.

I checked out these sites, but it seems the average rate is USD 5/
hour! Plus it seems each project has at least a dozen such $5/hour
programmers bidding on it.
