Starting out

Most of the messages in this newsgroup are specific problems or
questions. I have been scripting in mirc for a while so i have the
programming basics down but i was looking for your suggestions on
where to start with php.

Any and all suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Do something in PHP.

For instance ... put your mirc logs available to php and make a page
allowing a visitor to read them, search through them, edit them if he
can provide a good username/password, ..., ...
