PHP and eclipse?

Hi,

anyone of you know the "Eclipse" Editor? (www.eclipse.org)
It is a code editor, esspecially for programming in JAVA or C.
But is there a possibility to run it with a PHP Plugin? So I can create my
php scripts with Eclipse.

Isn't this is a little bit heavy ? I mean it's only an editor (for
PHP) but consumes 128 MB and a lot of runtime.

It's not /excess/ weight if you are using Eclipse anyway for writing
Java programs - as many people are.

However, so far PHP in Eclipse seems to be missing some basic
functionality - compared to the built-in Java support.

It is still in need of a good formatter and good lint tools - IMO.
