Oracle 9.2 and ocinewcollection fails

I have a problem with ocinewcollectio n which fails with
follwing error:
Warning: ocinewcollectio n(): OCITypeByName: ORA-21301: not initialized
in object mode
and returns false instead of oci-collection....

System is Suse 8.2, lastest CVS snapshot PHP, Oracle 9.2...
