You asked a question listing your requirements for a CMS. To answer would
require someone to research and compare CMSs or to happen to have used
something that met all of your requirements. Apparently, no one felt like
they knew the answer. You did get one reply pointing you to a site where you
could compare 40 CMSs and decide what fit your needs. You brushed that off.
I guess you didn't want to do your own research and were expecting us to do
it for you.
If you want to get answers to your questions I find it best to do the
following
0) RTFM. Almost every question here has an answer at www.php.net.
1) search google groups and determine if your question has already been
asked and answered
2) ask a specific, concise, and on-topic question. Avoid very broad
questions (like your CMS question.)
3) when someone answers sarcastically, don't take it personally and start a
flame war
4) when you get a serious answer, consider it carefully. Do not jump to the
conclusion that the answer is right or wrong. In either case, remember that
the poster was trying to help you and react appropriately.

Sorry,
but I gotta say this, whining won't help you either, nor will yelling.

If nobody answers a question it could be one of the following reasons:
1) Your question could easily be answered with a quick Google or PHP.net
search. RTFM.
2) Your question was too vague. Reread your question and reword it or include
more information.
3) You're asking too much. Most people only reply with short answers. Consider
breaking your question up into several smaller ones. If it can't be broken up,
consider paying someone to answer it (there are many sites that will hook you up
with a programmer-for-hire)
4) Your question was off-topic. Re-consider the group you're posting to.
5) Nobody knows the answer. Pay someone to research the answer for you.
6) You have done something to actively dissuade people from helping you. This
could include trolling, screaming, whining, spamming or displaying laziness.
This applies even if you have not done these things in the post you didn't
receive an answer to, but have done them in previous posts. The regular posters
have long memories.
In the case of your CMS question, the main reason was probably #3. You wanted
someone to summarize a large body of information for you. That takes a lot of
time to type, even if they were up to date on the information. Those kind of
questions rarely get the response you want. In those rare instances that
someone does take the time to respond the way you want, consider yourself lucky
- you got something for nothing. As for the other times, do the work yourself
or hire someone to do it.
As for future questions, you will find the number of responses you get dwindling
if you continue to envoke #6.

Poor fella!
Take up perl, instead -- then try posting in comp.lang.perl

You should write in mixed upper lower case. Next, you should have a
good subject line. Then you should already do research yourself to see
if the question has been answered. E.g. in the newsgroup fact. Also,
you should be precise in your question and reduce it to a minimum. And
you should always refer to what you're replying to or talking about
(e.g. I don't understand what your original question was). Hope that
helps.
