    MySQL Query Tool for php

I am making the jump from ASP/Access to PHP/MySQL.

And I really miss the ease of generating sql queries inherent in
    access.

I've been reduced on occassion to modeling the database in access,
using access to generate the complex sql query then copying it over to
    my php app.

Question: Is there a tool that interfaces to mysql and generates sql
    queries?

    thanks

phpMyAdmin can help you generate queries if you for some reason don't
learn SQL. Its available at http://www.phpmyadmin.net/.

PhpMyAdmin has actually helped me learn some SQL. I've used it to
generate queries, and in doing so, seen how these queries are
constructed, so I am subsequently able to construct them on my own.
And it doesn't cause an error in module explorer.exe, like access does;-)

If you can connect to MySQL from your desktop PC (not a given on a
hosted server), then you can install a MySQL ODBC driver on your PC and
use Access or pretty much whatever you want to build queries.

You want to convince people, not search engines. Hatless is search engine marketing at its best.

Actually I do have quite an extensive knowledge of SQL. I should have
mentioned my queries are very long and very complex, spaning multiple
            tables/databases.

And yes I can constuct complex queries, but in this time rushed world,
            I prefer point and click.
