A starnge questin

ok, this may sound a little starnge, but I must ask. please forgive
my....blonde moment. i know very little of PHP.

Now, I want to know, is there a way I can view how php documents will
look as they would on a web server but on my ersonel computer? I am
leanng towards the side of phpBB. this peice of programming also
requires MySQL, so, I am assuming I have to install these on my
computer. But, please, if you understand what i am saying, please help.

ok, and that will allow me to do all I requested no my own personel
computer. thank you.

But...when I visited the site, I could bet my life on it that the site
is not english.
