How to move an alphabetical list of files to another directory

I have to create a perl script, which is calling a .sql script. This .sql script is creating alphabetic listing of .inc files from A-Z. All the .inc files will be having a suffix with lowercase of the alphabet name with it e.g. testa.inc, testb.inc etc.
I then need to move these .inc files to another directory.
I dont know much perl , so any help is greatly appreciated.

Thankfully for you, this is a learning forum. What have you tried thus far? Please post your code, enclosed in code tags, and we will try to guide you in its development, but you are going to do a lot of the legwork.

Tip #1: "use strict;" and "use warnings;". Without them at the beginning of your script, you will find a lot of criticism. These pragmas help cut down on a lot of the tedious and syntactical errors and help us get to the real issue.

You may also want to look up any of the number of free Perl books on the internet and start reading.

    Regards,

    Jeff
