How to create a Horizontal Menu in cgi-perl

i have a login page called as Login.cgi...aft er entering a valid Password i get redirected to page called as Main.cgi..here i need to have a HORIZONTAL MENU and submenu like as it is in this page like "ASk ur questions" "write an article"..and so on...

AM new to perl so help me with some codes or links or any websites which might help me in this regard..

You need HTML/Javascript code.
This has nothing to do with PERL, you can send the web-page to browser using any language. So please move this thread to HTML/Javascript forum.

Quick answer:
Use functions of a javascript-framework (prototype, jquery) to do it for you. I did it once without framework for my website. It took a long time and I learned a lot, but I would not do it again (reinventing the wheel), because of maintenance regarding browser compatibility.
