    The Scope of the Perl in India ?

    Hello Everybody,

    Now i would join the perl Testing Programmer.

    I dont know exactly the scope of the Perl..

    So please tell me the Future scope of the perl

      Perl is used extensively in internet programming, scientific programming, commercial software interfaces, and much more. What the future scope of perl is, I don't know. Perl 6 is still under development ( more than 8 years now ) and from what I understand will not be backwards compatible with earlier versions of perl.

        If you want to keep up on the state of Perl, I would recommend you read Larry Wall's annual speech called the "State of the Onion".

          Jeff, I think most of the links on the page you posted are no longer active, it might be better to use the official perl 6 site:

          I think the SotO talks are linked to from the wiki page, but I'm not sure.
