    DBD::Oracle for windows

    hi to all

    can anyone help me out in getting DBD::Oracle for windows.. i am currently using oracle 9i and active perl state 5.8.8..

      CPAN is the site you need to look in for getting perl modules.

          hi

          i hav searched in it.. but thats havin DBD oly for Linux/Unix machines.. I need for Windows XP..

              That is not a true statement. The DBD modules are not OS specific. You should be able to install them and use them Windows, the same as you would on Unix. Oracle is still Oracle.

              The only modules that I know of that are OS specific are those specifically dubbed "Win32", etc.
