    Resources & Suggestions for Learning Perl

    hai all,
    i am a php developer with 1+ exp i want to learn Perl
    please suggest me. is Perl very difficult ?
    is it helpful for me to improve my technical skills ?

      One of the best resources for perl are the perldocs. Bookmark that website it will be very helpful. Also, pick the book "Learning Perl" or "Beginning Perl". Anytime you can improve your skills in any language you should.

      Also, it really depends what type of applications you are wanting to create. Some langauges are better that others and sometimes one language can be overkill for a simple task.
