oracle (tm) client & network components were not found..

Hi...
I have installed Oracle 10g..i have also set the DSN name for Oracle as "ora"...
But while i am tring to execute a JDBC application it raising an Exeption and
giving a message as Oracle(tm) client and networking components were not
found...i have searched for it on the net but i couldn't find.....
Tell me pls..... what should i do now to make my JDBC application run without
any exceptions..... ......

Was there any problem during database installation ?
I think some components are not installed properly.

Try to uninstall and install again after removing all the existing files / services of the old installation.
