    Connectivity for XP

We have a network with 4 computers on it. One of them is running the
database and the other 3 are clients. I can ping the server, but not the
database. TNSPING does not see the database. I have tnsnames.ora
    configured.

    Any ideas?

    TIA!!

        No - you tell first.
tnsnames.ora on the client, for example. And versions!
