    Oracle Download Fails (Disk Full)

I am trying to download Oracle 10g from Oracle's download site and keep
getting disk full errors. I am trying to download to my G drive (all kinds
of space) and my C drive doesn't have enough space to contain th eentire
    file.

It appears that the download goes to a temporary file (I think this is on C)
and when complete, the file is copied to its final destination. Is there
any way tyo get around this problem (the file size is ~ 600 MB).

    Thx

Windows downloads to the logical device "temp".
Allocate a temporary directory on you G: drive and change you environment.
This is accomplished using Control Panel / System / Environment (this can
vary depending on the flavor of windows).

Probably not ganna' work; it's the temporary
internet directory that needs changing (at least,
when using IE as browser, which is an assumption).

Get something that stores the content on the correct
place directly; i.e. getright. Firefly might do, too,
and is a more secure browser.

This ng is officially dead. Post in c.d.o.server, or
      c.d.o.misc next time.

Re: Oracle Download Fails (Disk Full)

Thanks for the info. I moved my IE Temporary Internet Files to a drive with
more space and was able to download. Will use the other ngs in the future.
