Changing Login Banner

Is there a way to customize the SQLPLUS login banner ? ( e.g in
addition to the regular Copyright messages, is it possible to display
additional messages ).

Check out the SQLPLUS Manual. Configuring your glogin.sql or login.sql
may give you what you want.
