    Capacity Planning for Oracle database

    Hi,

I am suppose to do some capacity planning for my servers. I am quite new
into this area, is there anyone out there who can give me some guide for
a kick-start or is there any resource out there I can refer to for a
    clearer picture?

I won't be using any 3rd party s/w in this case.

Thanks in advance for any input.

    Thanks and Rgds
    Eugene

You can write your own vmstat capture utilities and use Oracle to store the data.
