Can any one tell me why it is possible to create a table and a trigger with a same name but when it comes to table and a procedure it is not possible to
create a table and a procedure with a same name?

Hi,

I think it will give problem when you are trying to reference a column or variable in either of them. If they have the same name, Oracle might have problems to decide which one you want. (Just what seems logical to me)
