For a while I have been wanting to connect my ipad, my main computer, to the internet using a wired connection, because I am concerned about the dangers I have heard about wireless networks and the EMF they create that interferes with our cells ability to communicate. I have also noticed that I get pretty tense and easily upset after I have been using the wireless internet for hours.
After researching, for not very long, it sounded like it was nearly impossible, or only worked sporadically, so I never tried to wire in the ipad.
My daughter just got a Dell laptop and I was hoping it would have an ethernet port so we could at least connect her laptop directly to the modem, but it only has usb ports and a HDMI port.
I have seen that there are usb to ethernet adapters, yet Im not sure if they allow you to connect to the internet.
Is there an ethernet to usb (or HDMI) adpater that will allow internet to go thru?
