    Enabling ICS

    Hi

I ran ICS between 2 XP Systems.

One of the XP system joined a domain on Windows 2003 server.

Now, when i tried to run internet on that machine again (connected to XP with ICS enabled), it didn't work. I checked the IP configuration, all seems fine.

When i checked Windows Help, it says when a PC has joined a Domain, it then can not do ICS.

Please help how can i still run internet with ICS between XP machined when one of them has also joined a Domain?

I'm curious as to why you're looking further when Microsoft has explicitly said you can't do that...

Actually, I was not finding out how to push that particular thing further in the same way when it can not be done like that.

by the way, i have found answer to that:

When we enable ICS from machine that directly connects to the internet then the client which will connect to internet through the actual PC doesn't have to be setup to share internet, (IF it has not joined a Domain!) it will run internet automatically whithout doing any settings.
