guys, i need ur help 2 configure dns server for my network. well, i have a workgroup environment with windows server 2003 loaded in the server. I have configured DHCP and its doing ok. now wat i want is to configure the server as dns server too and it sud assign the dns value automatically to its client like the DHCP assigning IP to the clients.
so how sud i go about? i have gone thro many articles n followed them. but i dont find any changes. in fact i have to manually assign the dns server value to every client to share the internet connection from the server. Please give me a valuable suggestion. Plus i need to know wat to be put in the domain textbox when u r configuring dns server. is it that we can assign anything or .....?
