In a network half the no. of devices use TCP and the rest are UDP yet all are interconnected. ....Is it possible to do so like that???
Yes. TCP and UDP are used for different things, I would recommend researching them (Google and Wikipedia are good places to start, then the actual RFC's for even more detail) to understand the determination between the two.
