groupwise dropdownlist-- single selection control -- bind the data from DB (dynamic)

Hi guys

I m in need of a grouped drop down/drop down with optgroup to which the data has to be binded dynamically.
I have created a custom drop down with optgroup but unable to bind the data.

Any ideas or suggestions on how to do it?
