Does all the images in the Theme folder get loaded just like the .css files?

[Annie Park]

Hi,

From what I've read online, seems like the all the .css files in the Theme folder get loaded into the browser automatically.

If I have an "image" folder under the Theme folder, does all the images in that folder gets loaded as well? Or, does the image only get loaded when the page needs it?

Thanks,
Annie
