    Login failed for user. The user is not associated with a trusted SQL Server connectio

    I have written a windows form which connects to SQL. It works! I'm now trying to running it 'remotely' from another country. It fails!!

    When I connect from the remote location, I get the SQL error : "Login failed for user. The user is not associated with a trusted SQL Server connection. "

    I have logged onto the server, right click on the name, properties, security and it shows mixed mode.

    My connection string: sConn = @"Data Source=10.10.10 .10;Integrated Security=True;U ser ID=aloco; Password=xxx; Initial Catalog = " + cbDBNo.Text + ";";

    I can use the above IP and username/password to log on from my local version of SQL to the 'remote' server.

    I am on SQL 2005

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

    Dave

    Fixed.

    Data Source=10.10.10 .10,1433;Networ k Library=DBMSSOC N;User ID=abc; Password=xxx; Initial Catalog = " + cbDBNo.Text + ";"

    Is this safe (secure)? Surely I'm sending out the password over un-encrypted networks. Or is this just the way it is?
