VS .NET Errors

I receive 2 error messages while running Visual
Studio .NET 2003 evaluation copy on XP Pro, Version 2002,
Service Pack 1.

1) New Project \ Visual Basic Projects \ Windows
Application \ OK
Microsoft Development Environment Error Message: "The
specified module could not be found."


2) Project \ Add New Item \ Local Project Items \ XML File
\ Open
Microsoft Development Environment Error
Message: "Unspecifie d Error"

Can anyone tell me how to correct these problems?
