I've never come across any conversion tool (at least, none that actually work properly).

The languages and frameworks are pretty different. You'll probably just have to manually convert it.

Not really. MS has converter on official website (http://www.asp.net/downloads/archive...ion-assistants) but only works with framework 1.1
