I have a few processes running on an oldish computer Windows Xp Home Edition
and i wondered if there was any i could end? My computer is extremely slow
and i wanted to speed it up a little. Below are the processes i have:
ALG.EXE LOCAL
ALUSCHEDULERSVC .EXE SYSTEM
CCSVCHOST.EXE SYSTEM AND ONE FOR ME
CSRSS.EXE STSTEM
CTFMON.EXE FIONA
EXPLORER FIONA
IEXPLORER FIONA
LSASS SYSTEM
MDNSRESPONDER SYSTEM
SERVICES SYSTEM
SMSS SYSTEM
SPOOLSV SYSTEM
SVCHOST SYSTEM, NETWORK, SYSTEM, NETWORK, LOCAL
SYMLCSVC SYSTEM
SYSTEM SYSTEM
SYSTEM IDLE PROCESS SYSTEM
WINLOGIN SYSTEM
WLLLOGINPROXY FIONA
So now my question is, do i need all of these running? They are always the
same ones and seem to be using quite a bit for my computer?
Thank you so much a head of time for your help
