How to login Hotmail in VB.net

HI all,

I'm trying to build windows application that login to hotmail and show up only the current contact list. Can someone give me a hint?

I've already checked the Internet connection, and when I'm sure that connection is working need to send the MSN_ID and PASS and get the contact list.

are you able to connect to the hotmail server ?

yea im pretty sure you need to be able to connect to the hotmail servers...which is going to probably be pretty hard to do. you basically have 2 ways to do it. 1- hack it. but since hotmail is a pretty big company(and therefore pretty secure) im pretty sure its not going to be very easy to do. 2- ask microsoft if they can give you connection information for their servers...which would most likely never happen because microsoft isnt going to give their server information to just any1 that asks.
