Itunes won't download/work

I cannot download Itunes to my computer that has Windows XP Home Edition.
Before it finishes downloading, this happens:
"HKEY_LOCAL_MAC HINE/SOFTWARE/MICROSOFT/WINDOWS/CURRENTVERSION/SHAREDDlls"
How do I get past this?

The error you have posted is a registry key. Was there more to the
message? It sounds like the installer can't write to the registry. Are
you installing the software from an Administrative account (an account
with admin privs, not a "Limited" one)?
