Connect to an Exchange Server using C# to check for Emails

Hello,

I am required to write a C# app to connect to an exchange server using .Net 3.5. The aim will be then to receive emails and insert the email text into a database table.

My first question would be how big a job would this be?

Any advice on how to go about this task?

That is similar to a problem I will have to look into for a project at work eventually, if I find out anything I'll post it here :)
