    bad_pool-caller error Stop 0X000000C2 error

Our PC keeps trying to start, gets to the start Windows screen and then
crashes to a blue error screen with the message "a problem has been detected
and Windows has shut down to prevent damage to PC. BAD_POOL_CALLER . Error
    messages are
    STOP 0X000000C2 (0X00000043, 0X30ZD0000, 0X00000000, 0X00000000) - Beginning
dump of physical memory. Memory dump complete.
    PC then tries to restart.
Tried rebooting in SAFE mode, same thing.
Tried rebooting from last safe config, same thing.
Have the XP disk and have put into drive and tried restarting, but doesn't
seem to be using the XP disk to reboot. Any ideas??
    Thanks, Jennifer

you will get some help from:

    microsoft.publi c.windows.vista .general
    or
    microsoft.publi c.windowsxp.gen eral
