want to deploy console application to another application

I want to deploy the c#.net console appln to another machine, that manchine doesnt have visual studio .net. I can pls help me out the steps for deploying the appln.
I have copied the .exe of the appln to the destination machine and tried to run the exe but was unsuccessful. Please suggest
