kb888111 - - HD audio driver - installation error

When I try to install kb888111 hotfix HD audio drivers for WinXP SP2 32bit I
get error: "update\update. exe not a valid win32 application".

Any suggestions? I have lost 1day of my life for microsoft.

Start by posting your question to a group that is more relevant, like one
with "Outlook" in it. This is a .Net programming newsgroup full of people
who have lost way more than 1 day of their life to Microsoft.
