help with using micro mail / outlook express

just picked up a new laptop and want to use my main email account on this
machine + my desktop. I use outlook express on the desktop and wondered
whether it was possible to view my main email account + contacts and history
    on both machines?

I have been able to create an account using the same mail address on the
laptop, but i'm getting some mails on one machine and some (others) on the
other machine...total ly confused ...can someone guide me through this please

Re: help with using micro mail / outlook express

"dotnet" (any newsgroup with that name in it) are groups for dotnet software
developers. (programmers, developers, people who code programs)

you would be best served to find a newsgroup with "windows" in it.

RE: help with using micro mail / outlook express

You will need to go into your Accounts under the Tools menu in Outlook
Express and edit your email account on *both* machines. They both need to say
"Leave a copy on the server" or something like that (I don't have Outlook
      Express where I am now).

Also, if you want to quickly get a copy of all your settings and old emails
onto your new laptop, do a quick google search for "Outlook Express Backup."
You can try it out for 30-days or so, and (buy it if you like it) or
      (uninstall it and forget it).

And, no, this is not an Outlook Express newgroup. ;)

      Hope that helps.
