.Net 2.0 Parser error.

I have the following error when opening an inhouse app created with .net 2.0.

Error parsing C:\Windows\Micr osoft.Net\Frame work\v2..050727 \config\machine .config Parser returned error 0xC00CE508.

Any thoughts?

I have re-installed .net 2.0.

EDIT: Oops

Go to the administrator tools and select the "Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 Configuration" tool and see if you can't "re-save" the machine.config file.
