My MySQL query creates a temporary table in my server's /tmp dir. It seems that they are not deleted when the query has finished with them so how best should it be done?
Temp tables exist for your current client session but should terminate when you close your session. If you want them to be removed during the same session you'll have to manually delete them. To remove them you'd just use a drop statement.
